Bengaluru, India, 19 September 2026: Most organisations cannot currently produce an accurate account of their own cryptography. QNu Labs, a global leader in quantum security solutions, has launched QShield 2.0 today, the platform powering its National Cryptographic Assessment & Assurance Framework (NCAAF), at its 10th anniversary event in Bengaluru.
The launch lands against a tightening regulatory picture. India's Department of Science and Technology, under the National Quantum Mission, published a Task Force Report in February 2026, "Implementation of Quantum Safe Ecosystem in India", recommending that critical infrastructure sectors begin formal post-quantum cryptography implementation by 2027. Gartner places the arrival of a cryptographically relevant quantum computer capable of breaking RSA-2048 within the 2030 to 2035 window.
NCAAF is structured around three continuous processes the company calls Discover, Assess and Assure: locating cryptographic assets across an organisation's systems, scoring each against quantum and classical risk, and validating them on an ongoing basis rather than through periodic audits. It runs on five underlying QShield 2.0 modules: Quantum Entropy, Quantum Readiness Risk Assessment, Quantum PKI, Quantum Vault, and AI Security, the last addressing cryptographic risk in AI models and autonomous agents.
